16' Crescent Day Sailer - KIN SHIP

16′ Wooden Crescent Day Sailer plus trailer! All parts included, as well as plans that we found (and printed/bound) detailing every aspect of this boat. Per the write-up… “”Kin Ship” has a centerboard design providing several advantages… Her broad beam makes it an ideal family boat with a cockpit large enough to accommodate four adults. It’s ready for a new coat of paint and an updated/refurbished trailer, but this should be a beauty with a month of TLC. (Year built unknown; listed as a best guess…could be plus or minus decades!)

The story told to us: It was originally built and gifted as a wedding present decades ago. The first owner used it for years, before selling it to the people we bought it from. It’s now been fully garaged for about 5 years. Sad to see this go. My 14-year-old son fell in love with wooden sailboats and worked/saved his money for a year to buy this. Alas, he never found the time to refurbish this and he’s now moving off to college.
