Description
Designed & constructed by Harry Bryan. 12′ in length with a 30″ Beam, the boat weighs 65 lbs. The planking is Northern White Cedar over an oak frame. The design is based on how fish move. The single occupant uses push pedals to sweep the “kick up” tail fin back and forth for propulsion and steering, leaving the hands free for bird watching, fishing, or photography. Tail fin assembly is detachable for when the boat is being towed or stored. The canvas seat is adjustable semi-recumbent and there are covered storage compartments fore and aft. Built in 2005, it has less than 50 hours of use. The boat is on a Sports Rig Trailer, which is wired for towing. The boat and trailer have always been stored in dry storage. Included are an extra plexiglass “tail fin” and the tools necessary to remove/replace the tail fin in the fin assembly.
