The keel was laid in 1984 & she was splashed in 2005. The hull is cold molded of 7 layers of 3/8“ plywood, fiberglassed completely on the exterior. 85 hp Ford Lehman diesel engine. The drive unit is hydraulic. Bow and stern thrusters make it quite maneuverable. Custom-built teak Pilothouse, for comfortable navigation systems & tiller or wheel steering. Davit system on the stern with rowing/sailing dingy. Hydraulic windless. Northern lights diesel generator. Museum quality, custom-designed mahogany & teak interior cabinetry & woodwork. Too many custom features and hardware/equipment to list! Recent haulout and survey by Christian & Company and new bottom paint.
It is a full displacement hull and all running rigging is traditional of that period. Built by the first owner, a shipwright since 1957, over a span of 21 years. The keel was laid in 1984, and she was splashed in 2005. The bowsprit, masts, and booms were built by bill clarke, a san diego boat builder. Her hull is cold molded of 7 layers of 3/8″ plywood, fiberglassed completely on the exterior, and fiberglassed to the waterline on the interior. The drive unit is hydraulic, and the main engine is mounted in a transverse position on the portside in the salon inside an insulated box to reduce noise. The generator is mounted similarly on the starboard side. bow and stern thrusters make her quite maneuverable. The rigging is stainless wire, and the masts are tabernacled. There is a davit system on the stern with a rowing dinghy. Much of the hardware on the boat is custom bronze, and polished to a high gloss. She has sailed from San Francisco Bay to San Diego with many enjoyable hours of sailing.
Enter the companionway from the pilothouse through a storm hatch. A ladder lands you in the salon where there are opposing settees port and starboard, cabinetry, wall mounted heater, generator and main engine enclosures. The floor is made up of interlocking panels. The interior was custom built. Beautiful museum quality woodwork and workmanship is evident from bow to stern.
Moving forward from the salon is a gangway midships with private bunk rooms to port and starboard. a ladder mounted on the port wall of the gangway is an emergency exit through a deck hatch. Farther forward is a head and vanity. Moving aft from the salon is a dining room to port with a large gimballed table. Across from the dining area is a u-shaped galley with double stainless sinks, counter space, stove oven, and full-sized refrigerator. Aft of the galley and dining area is the master stateroom. Large head with shower tub and vanity is to starboard, then aft is the queen bed, and on port is a settee aft, and navigation station forward of that. Forward of the nav station is a large pantry with washer-dryer. There is ample storage under and

Last bottom paint june 2021, marine survey by kells christian company, hull was continuously surveyed by marine surveyors throughout construction. Those surveys are available on request.
