1940 Gar Wood 19′ 6″ Double Cockpit Runabout for sale. Only 2 owners in its history. Discovered in 1987 as a derelict being stored outdoors uncovered for 20 years in Eugene, Oregon. Completely restored, an accurate restoration, finished with a modern no soak bottom by Northwest Classic Boats. Engine repowered with a 1950 Mercury flathead V8, rebuilt in 2002, updated with period correct speed equipment now producing 150 hp.
Upholstery in excellent condition. Sale price includes custom trailer built by Ryan Trailers of Oregon, Custom cover, Gar Wood Flag, Lighted American Flag, 2 Oars. Boat shown at the Antique and Classic Boat Society Annual Meeting 2013, Maritime Heritage Festival, Concourse d’Elegance 2009, and Concourse d’Elegance Tahoe Yacht Club Foundation 2011.
