Description
Rubarb is a 1948 Rhodes 18 keel daysailer located in Rhode Island. Built by Cape Cod Shipbuilding, she was restored in 2000 using WEST System epoxy. Rubarb was reframed, re-decked, and all woodwork was stripped down and barrier coated with epoxy.
The exterior is painted, and the interior and woodwork varnished to a brightwork finish.
Since her restoration, Rubarb has been carefully maintained. Her winter storage has been indoors.
The custom galvanized trailer includes an extendable tongue to permit ramp launching if desired. A fiberglass dinghy is included in the sale.
The mast and standing rigging were replaced two years ago, and the sails are recent — main, jib, and spinnaker.
