Cape Falcon Kayak offers online video instruction and plan sets teaching skin-on-frame kayak and canoe building. With over 20 years of experience and thousands of boats built, we focus both on preserving arctic kayak history, and expanding the horizons of skin on frame with our own modern designs. Skin on frame building is fast, easy, and inexpensive; and without the need for cumbersome boat molds, individual boats can be easily customized to the user.

We offer two modern and two traditional kayak designs, each of which is scalable for different sized paddlers. We also offer a custom canoe building system that allows students to build a canoe without molds or permanent thwarts, creating lightweight canoes that can be nested together for storage or transport.
