The Center for Wooden Boats

The Center for Wooden Boats is a living museum focused on providing equitable access to the water. We encourage our community to experience heritage in a way that you can sail, build, and explore. We provide hands-on experiences with a historical collection of over 100 wooden boats.

With a wide range of programs including sailing, woodworking, and boatbuilding classes for youth and adults, The Center for Wooden Boats also offers job skills programs and pay-what-you-can scholarships to reduce barriers and provide access to the water.

The Center for Wooden Boats is located on Lake Union in Seattle, WA and at Cama Beach State Park on Camano Island, WA.
