Choptank Boatworks builds, repairs and restores wooden boats of all types including: Carvel, Lapstrake, Strip Planked, Glued Plywood, Glued Lapstrake, Cold-molded, and Stitch & Glue.
My name is Patrick Mertaugh, I’m a one-man shop that takes personal care of your wooden boat. I’ve been working professionally on boats for over 25 years and am trained at The Landing School of Boatbuilding in Maine. I work one-on-one with customers to repair, restore, improve, or build your perfect boat. Located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore near the Choptank River.
