South Shore Boatworks

Founded by Bob Fuller, a 3rd. generation master craftsman, South Shore Boatworks focuses in Building and restoration of traditional wooden smallcraft, Patternmaking for custom bronze hardware and building wooden steering wheels.
Since the early 1960’s, members of the Fuller family have specialized in the design and building of Traditional Wooden Ships Steering Wheels.
South Shore Boatworks is the only Full time, dedicated wheel building shop in the U.S. Bob’s daughter Christina is the 4 th. generation in the family to work with wood. She builds the “Plymouth Rock’r Rocking Boat” for the youngest boating enthusiast and is a apprentice wheelbuilder.
