BUXTON BOATS is a wooden (10’-50’) boat building and design company, specializing in lobster boat and lobster yacht construction and designs of all types. Located in the Burnt Cove area of Stonington.

Owner and boatbuilder Peter Buxton has been a longtime friend of and collaborator with Off Center Harbor, featuring in multiple series including a series chronicling the complete construction of a wooden plank-on-frame lobster boat at Peter’s shop in Stonington, Maine.
