30' Herreshoff Ketch (1965) - ORIENT STAR

Cheoy Lee-built, this auxiliary powered, full keel, masthead ketch, with an aft cockpit and a stepped cabin house with standing headroom has been professionally maintained to a high standard as noted in a 2021 marine survey. The hull is white The Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) hull received fresh Awlgrip coating in 2022. Hull has a blue boot top and shear stripe, and red anti-fouling paint on the bottom. There is a forward cabin, followed aft by an enclosed head, a salon dinette area, and an aft galley area. The engine is accessed by doors beneath the companionway and cockpit sole hatch. A combiner was added to the charging system in 2022; consistent system upgrades have been made annually. Icebox can be loaded with block ice through a port lazarette, with access from inside the cabin.
