Description
Lucky Star is a 34′ cabin cruiser designed by Ed Monk, Sr and built by Grandy Boat Company on Lake Union in Seattle, WA.
She is a simple yet comfortable cruiser, powered by a 105-hp Chrysler Marine Diesel. At a cruising speed of 6 knots, she uses about 1.5 gals of diesel per hour. She has a manual windlass. There are two stainless steel fuel tanks, although only one is currently used, with an 80-gallon stainless steel potable water tank and a 40-gallon plastic holding tank.
A forward v-berth sleeps two and a settee in the cabin sleeps an additional person. Aft on starboard is the helm. followed by a settee, a refrigerator, and a head. Portside has a table with two bench seats. The forward seat pivots toward the bow or toward the table. Aft of the table is a galley with sink and butane camp cook stove. Large windows in the cabin provide lots of light and good visibility. The cockpit is a generous size. She is a pleasure to cruise or live aboard.
She is a sweet boat but age prompts me to sell her to someone who will be a good steward going forward. Will consider all offers.
