36' Backman Downeast Lobster Boat (1960) - AVIATOR

Cedar on oak Backman-built in Winter Harbor, she spent her life lobstering and racing in Maine. Now in Rhode Island, finish this refit to be the ultimate coastal day boat.
Chevy 350 motor runs well, Aviator is stored in the water at New England Boatworks and has the usual wear and tear for a 64 yr old wood boat.
We have worked away at small projects and had a ball on Narragansett Bay but we need to move on. She is one of the prettiest boats in Newport Harbor. I’ve already got sellers remorse!
