37' Alden Ketch (1930) - AFIKOMEN

AFIKOMEN was purchased by her late owner in 2007. In 2010 her stem and several frames and planks in her forward section were replaced. In 2012 her fore triangle was returned to Alden design with a club-footed forestaysail and roller furling yankee.

She has been professionally maintained at Seal Cove Boatyard since 2007 and has been commissioned each year except 2010 and 2022. She’s had an ongoing, yearly schedule of improvements: new sails, new engine, rewiring, added electronics, inverter, etc.

She remains a simple coastal cruiser of John G. Alden’s prime. Her classic, wood sailing dinghy is also available.
