She’s a very well built, well maintained and comfortable vessel. Built by EF Elkins 1952 (England) Fred Parker design. 44’ lod, 50’ loa, 39’ lwl, 11.5’ beam. Full controls in pilothouse and outside. Ford Lehman 120 with approx 1800 hrs since remanufacture in walk-in engine room with work bench and storage.
Sails well. Main and jib serviceable older sails, mizzen and staysail very good newer sails. Masts are beautiful old growth Douglas fir installed in the 1980s when the rig was changed from gaff to increase sail area. All spars and rigging parts are in great condition.
in 2016 the ballast keel was removed, rebedded and all bolts replaced..
The interior is simple not really fancy or luxurious, but very warm, comfortable and inviting. Both Webasto diesel hydronic heat and Dickinson propane fireplace. Force 10 propane stove and oven, two built in refrigeration units. Two heads, one with shower. All systems, tankage, electronics, ground tackle and rigging new at various times within last twenty years .
In 2023 the engine had a valve job, head planed, injectors and inspection, adjustments and cleaning by Long Cove Marine. Shaft trued at Billings and new cutlass bearing and thrust bearing installed.
Bottom stripped, sanded, recaulked as needed and painted first with red lead then Trinidad. HD in 2023 and then sanded and repainted 2024 as she will be this spring prior to launch. Topsides sanded and painted with Epifanes Yacht Enamel September 2024. Decks were refinished with Interlux InterDeck spring 2024 and the teak pitothouse was also stripped and re varnished then. Rutland 504 wind charger installed 2024 and solar panels currently being upgraded and rewired. All systems in good working order.Fully equipped and ready to cruise.

She’s a great boat. We are selling only because we’re getting older and after many years spent “messing about” and living aboard this and previous cruising boats we’ve settled in to land life. While we’ll continue to spend much of each season cruising this area and keeping her in good shape we no longer plan to use Bellina for the kind of voyages she’s meant for.
