The Sailing Experience in Ortigia

Fiesta II is a 38 foot Tahiti Ketch, a classic wooden sailboat designed in 1924 by John Hanna, an american boat designer at the beginning of the twentieth century. The boat was built in France according to the original design.

Fiesta’s experience gives to our member the opportunity to enjoy Siracusa’s waters and to explore this part of Sicily from a waterside.

According to the weather conditions, we will sail around the island of Ortigia and along the coast of the marine sanctuary Plemmirio with stops for swimming and tasting.

We will cruise the waters of Siracusa Bay, enjoying the sights of Ortigia while I will tell you the past events of this old greek harbor. While we sail I would like you to help me trying your hand at steering Fiesta and trimming the sails with me, sharing some sailing knowledge with you.

Eventually, we will celebrate the aperitif ritual in the bay, having a delicious tasting of food and wines made by local farmers and producers.

While sailing along Siracusa’s coastline with your partner or group of friends (up to 6 people) you will enjoy the entire boat exclusively for yourself.
