Finnish Wooden Boat Center

The Finnish Wooden Boat Center is a more than just a boatyard!

Located in Kotka, Finland we offer a variety of marine related businesses the opportunity to operate in a common facility offering everything a modern wooden boat yard requires. State of the art woodworking as well as traditional boat building tools are used by experienced and newly trained craftsmen to restore, build and fully equip a range of wooden craft from 10’ dinghies to 72’ yachts. There are full metal and canvas working facilities on sight.

The Center is designed with viewing platforms for the public to watch craftsmen at work and there is a cafeteria operated by a local vocational school. We offer tours of the facility by arrangement.
