Langley Photography

Alison Langley has earned international recognition for her nautical photography, capturing the light, beauty, and motion of yachts around the world. Alison studied film at New York University and photography at the Rhode Island School of Design. Opportunity took her to Sydney Australia where she worked in the film industry for many years, while also learning to sail. Smitten with the lifestyle of traveling by sea, she then crewed for six years on yachts and sailed around the world, taking photos all the while. Sailing through the North and South Pacific, South East Asia, and across the Indian Ocean to Africa, Alison began her photography career publishing images and stories in magazines before returning to the U.S.

Today, Alison lives in Camden Maine, surrounded by some of the finest yachts, and boat builders in the world. Alison creates imagery, in both stills and video, and produces documentaries on boatbuilding and restoration and these beautiful boats at sea.
