The Ponce de Leon Inlet Light Station is widely considered one of the most authentic and complete historic lighthouse facilities in the country. Declared a National Historic Landmark in 1998 this important site has been managed and operated by the non-profit Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse Preservation Association since 1972.
