The Elephant Boatyard is one of the few remaining traditional boatbuilders on South Coast of England. Our highly skilled team offer an exceptional level of boatbuilding expertise, with a passion for detail and calibre of craftsmanship.

We specialise in bespoke wooden boatbuilding and classic yacht restorations. We have built more than 65 boats and have undertaken numerous renovation projects. Our team of skilled shipwrights take an immense pride in breathing new life into classic motorboats and yachts.

We have worked with many prestigious yacht designers over the years – Nigel Irens, Ian Howlett, Ed Dubois, Peter Norlin, Tony Castro, Doug Peterson and Ron Holland to name but a few. Every project is unique, tailored to a client’s individual requirements.
