Urban Boatbuilders’ inspires youth to recognize their inner strength, identify their unique skills and celebrate their potential. Trained staff lead small teams through a research-based curriculum that facilitates social and emotional learning while creating a functional, beautiful craft. Over the course of 70 hours, youth ages 12 – 21 develop essential skills and positive relationships that help them navigate their worlds and achieve success. The program culminates with the launch of their craft, giving them the confidence to achieve their dreams.
