You're on the list. Like you I find the older I get the smaller and more enjoyable the boats are. Although my current build at just over 20' is pushing my limit. http://stevebrookman.com/SjoginIIIa.html
A real beauty! Mind if I add her to the melonseed fleet: http://traditionalsmallcraft.com/Melonseed.html I built and sail Rivus, a 16' Barto design. If you love your 13' you'll love the 16' even more, just more of it.
I'll get Plug added. Glad Rivus was an inspiration, you took the construction to another level or levels. Do you have a link to your build? Not going to be able to use this boat show page. Come join us for the Small Reach Regatta, pandemic pending. We typically have 3-4 seeds, that, of course, never race each other! http://downeasttsca.org/SRR.html
That's a familiar boat. You helped me along when I built Vika, the Ohio Sharpie a few years back. It was a fun build and got me hooked on building small boats. I sold it after building a melonseed, then a peapod, and a skiff...now a Gartside Sjogin III....I can't stop!
Kirk, I have your boat posted here: http://traditionalsmallcraft.com/Melonseed.html I attended the WBF a few years back, a really great festival. I almost retired to PT but opted for Downeast Maine instead. Similar in flavor, but a tad colder this time of year.
She's a beaut! Good choice opting for the Brady rig, I've used it for 7 years on Rivus, my 16' Barto seed. If you want I could add Plug to the melonseed fleet at http://traditionalsmallcraft.com/Melonseed.html.
