Pirogue Regatta

Pirogue – traditional wooden boats regatta. The Pirogue is the traditional boat of the fishermen of Mauritius. Made of wood it measures between 19 and 23 feet. The regata “Pirogues” are lighter and sharper than those used for traditional fishing.
