Owner’s Description
1913 double-ender built by Harvey and Lang in Auckland New Zealand.She is named “MANA-NUI” which in Maori means “supreme power” or “high status”.
Constructed of twin skin NZ kauri timber.
Over her 109 years she has had various roles – fishing, charter boat for game fishing marlin etc. and latterly private ownership as a motor sailer.
A major refit has been done in the last 15 or so years which has brought Mana-Nui up to a very high standard.
A pair of ss davits have been added and a new tender constructed,with colour to match the original main hull.
Full antifoul,new anodes, electrical wiring check and engine service just completed
