17' Landing School Sports Utility Runabout (2015) - LUNA

Limited edition – four boats handcrafted in 2015. A hard chine semi -vee planing boat. The top sides are glued lap strake 9mm Oakum marine plywood and the bottom is cold molded 9mm oakum plywood and 3mm Alaskan cedar veneer with 6 oz fiberglass epoxy sheathing.

Price Paid in 2015, including boat, trailer, 50 HP outboard: $34,900.
Usage: 2015–2024: freshwater only. Primarily long Lake, Harrison Maine. Log records indicate total engine hours 200–250 (during June – September) over total 10 year time span. boat used for scenic cruises, picnics, and loon watching. No water skiing or raft towing. Boat docked seasonally. at two small marinas on the north end of Long Lake in a protected Cove area. Luna was always covered with custom fitted umbrella cover when docked. Luna was stored inside owners’ barn in Harrison when not at marina and was maintained according to recommended schedule.
