24' Lapworth 24 Sloop (1962) - AMIGUITA

Amiguita is far more than just another classic sailboat—she represents an important piece of American sailing history.

Designed by legendary yacht designer Bill Lapworth, the Lapworth 24 was one of the very first fiberglass production sailboats he created before his partnership with Jack Jensen led to the famous Cal Yachts line. Even more remarkable, Amiguita was built from the same molds as Dove, the boat Robin Lee Graham sailed on during his famous solo circumnavigation of the globe.

Our family has owned and loved Amiguita for decades, and she is now ready to begin her next chapter with a new owner.

Over the past several years, more than $35,000 has been invested in professionally restoring and upgrading her, including work completed by Windward Yacht Center, one of Southern California’s premier boatyards.
