A true gem seeks a new owner/lover
After a wonderful and fulfilling 22 years with this wonderful boat we would like to realise new plans and therefore seek a worthy and capable successor. Lillie III is an exceptionally beautiful and authentic Skerry Cruiser, built in 1932 at Rödesunds Boatyard to plans by Harry Becker, known for his innovative and fast designs. As she has been in the hands of few and caring owners, Lillie remains in a mainly original condition, with relevant renovations – such as replacing the keel-bolts with stainless steel bolts – having been undertaken. Many regatta successes both in the 1930s and in recent decades bear witness to the outstanding sporting capabilities of this elegant boat. Moreover, her arrangements and seemingly eternal aft deck lend themselves to endless hours of pleasure, whether in a fresh breeze or simply drifting around on a glassy sea. The spacious cockpit, with removable mahogany table, provides ample space for four to picnic and socialise. Although conceived as a racer, her cabin offers two bunks, which with the addition of a bridging insert form a comfortable double bed with a direct view of the stars.
