Description
The Cape Henry 21, built in marine clinker-built plywood epoxy coating. It features an aesthetically pleasing hull. The mast is hollow timber, fabricated by the bird’s mouth method. Classic cutter-type rig. The mainsail is a high-peaked gaff. The Yankee and the genoa are mounted on roller furlers.
The retractable steel centerboard allows you to tow the sailboat to your favorite bodies of water. Draft: 0.495/1.34m (1′ 7″/4′ 5″). The trailer is provided. Also a Mercury 6hp FourStroke short shaft outboard (2021). Fuel tank included.
The cockpit is spacious and comfortable. Two quarter berths stretch aft beneath the cockpit. In the galley area there is a sink, a stove, plenty of locker space. Forward, the V-berth measures 1.90 m wide and 2.20 m long and has ample storage space underneath for extra gear. There is a dry toilet under the V-berth to port, separated by a privacy curtain, and a cooler on starboard. During the winter, it was always stored in my heated workshop.
