40' Sangermani IOR Sloop (1972) - SANDRA

SANDRA Class: Classic IOR CIM, is prototype, of a small series of 4 boats, 12 meters boat designed by Sangermani Cesare, and built in the historical Sangermani Italian shipyards. Launched in 1972. From the historical Sangermani archive, the boat appears catalogued with the project number 187/1972. The hull was built in fiberglass while the deck and the interiors, very comfortable and prestigious, were built in teak and mahogany.
The hull, fast and very hydrodynamic, was born from the evolution of the keel of Churro and Ninni, according to the IOR standards of that period.
The Bermudian Sloop rigging with aluminium mast, very large jib and small mainsail. Sandra since its launch has participated in many races obtaining excellent results.
The boat has been completly rifted, with great care in the Cecchi di Massarossa shipyards in 2008.
From 2008 until today, Sandra has been continuously well maintained and has participated in many regattas of the “classic sails” circuit throughout the Mediterranean sea, always with excellent results.
