50' Alden-Nielsen Schooner (1929) - VOYAGER

Voyager has been in the Phillipps family since my father, Peter, bought her in 1962. He and his wife Jeanette sailed her to Europe, Asia, Africa and back. They oversaw two comprehensive rebuilds, once in Lunenburg, CA, and most recently in Phuket, Thailand in 2003. Now framed and planked out of Thai hardwoods, she is stronger than ever.

Loch, Peter’s son, and his wife Lee took over as owners in 2016. After extensive work redoing her rig and then wooding her hull, they have sailed her across the Atlantic to England. There she awaits our return for a summer of exploring Brittany, England, Ireland, and Scotland.
