    Puuvenepiste designs and builds (lapstrake) wooden rowing boats and other small crafts for recreation and competition use.

    The boats are WOOD ONLY, no Stich & Glue with glass fibre.

    The stability of the boats is good and the ample space for gear makes the boats very suitable for longer multiple day trips. One of our boats, a A SAVO650D named Mursu, participated and finished as the only human powered vessel in the Race to Alaska in 2019 (https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/734d5d7daa9d48a6be3d83e0bf38cb7f)

    We also have an innovative sliding seat system that fits into almost every rowing boat as well as pin style oarlocks for rowing off the gunnel.
