Puuvenepiste designs and builds (lapstrake) wooden rowing boats and other small crafts for recreation and competition use.
The boats are WOOD ONLY, no Stich & Glue with glass fibre.
For the best description of the SAVO models I refer to a recent article in Small Boats Magazine: https://smallboatsmonthly.com/article/savo-650d/
The stability of the boats is good and the ample space for gear makes the boats very suitable for longer multiple day trips. One of our boats, a A SAVO650D named Mursu, participated and finished as the only human powered vessel in the Race to Alaska in 2019 (https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/734d5d7daa9d48a6be3d83e0bf38cb7f)
You can get a ready build boat from:

The boats will arrive February 17, 2023
(there’s also plenty to explore on the map year-round)
To get access to the Show, you need a Full Access Pass:
1. If you attended the WCBS in 2021 or 2022, your login will still work 2. If you’re new to the Show, you can get a ticket by clicking “Get Full Access” 3.NOTE: Off Center Harbor members still need a separate WCBS account; this is a different login system
If you want to create or update pages and classifieds
but aren’t ready to buy a ticket, you can start here – but you won’t get access to all the boats and daily presentations.
Looking good, Ruud. The grain on the opening image of the 650D3 is remarkable!
Hi Andrew, yes that was some nicely grained sapeli.
