I love William Atkin designs, and Christina Grant is an absolute beauty! My own boat is Cape George cutter, Tally Ho! CG seems to have a little more spring to her sheer, and maybe a little bit finer entry? Is she based upon Atkin’s Tally Ho Major? I’d be interested to know! Regardless, she is clearly Atkin, and makes my heart flutter, just seeing these pictures. Enjoy your beautiful boat!
Kirsten, you are an inspiration! I was so excited to follow your journey and watch you win the race! My boat is a Cape George Cutter 31’, ‘Tally Ho!’ and it is also in the show. Cheers! -Scott
What a gem! You’ve done a beautiful job with her. Similar interior aesthetic to Tally Ho! my Cape George Cutter 31’ (also listed in the boat show). You clearly have good taste! Hope to see you out on the Salish Sea sometime! -Scott S/V Tally Ho! Seattle, Washington
Hello Nate! I’ve seen you and ‘the Crow’ a couple of times over on Port Madison. Always love seeing your beautiful Ingrid, and smelling that sweet wood fire! I’m Scott, aboard s/v Tally Ho! Cape George Cutter 31’. I’ve posted my boat in the show, but had no idea you were part of the Off Center crew! You guys are amazing! I’ll probably be heading over to PM in a couple days. Working on laminating a new teak and yellow cedar companionway dropboard. Hope to see you there! -Scott Brown
She is a stunning vessel! The materials, construction, and interior layout and finish are just fantastic. I love my Cape George 31’ Tally Ho! , but Astrid makes my heart beat maybe even a little bit faster. Beautiful boat!
Thank you so much! I was just about to buy the off-white satin, but thought it might be too ‘cream’. I can see in your pics that it looks perfect! Besides, I grew up on Bainbridge Island.
Wouldn’t that be great! A quick question- What paint are you using in your interior? Mine is due, and yours has a nice color and sheen. Building some laminated teak and yellow cedar hanging knees, so of course, I need to repaint the house sides! Hope your beautiful boat is coming along well.
