That’s a flattering description of the IP color. To me the beige has always looked like a dingy bath towel. Anyway, it doesn’t apply to the earliest IPs like Janina. She’s a crisp white. As I understand it, the IP founder/designer, Bob Johnson, found a catboat plug and used it to produce his first boat. You can see it in Janina’s lines and dimensions.
