Nordic Craft specializes in building small craft combining the best of both worlds; traditional aesthetics with modern construction. We also offer comprehensive restoration and maintenance services for wooden boats up to 30 ft.
The lappstrake construction developed in Nordic countries during centuries, even a millennia ago, combined with modern glued plywood construction creates boats that are light, stiff, elegant and easy to maintain.

We have selected finest models from prominent designers from all over the world. These designers include Iain Ougthred with his elegant small craft merging traditional workboat looks with high sailing performance and Doug Hylan, innovatively reforming American tradition using light and modern construction. In 2025 we designed our first own model, the Nordic Skiff, small Sail & Oar boat based on Åland Island small working craft.
