The Port Townsend Pocket Yachters are a loose-knit group—no bylaws, commodores, membership dues or business meetings–-just folks who love getting out on the water together in small boats…also known as pocket yachts.
We have a variety of in-the-water rowing/sailing events, and host the annual Pocket Yacht Palooza, a one-day display of small boats with some emphasis on camp-cruising sailboats, easily driven powerboats and rowing/paddling watercraft. (The Palooza is one of the largest exhibits of smaller boats in North America, and it is usually followed immediately by the Palooza Crooza, a three-night cruise for small-boat skippers.)
The date for this year’s Pocket Yacht Palooza (subject to change due to Covid restrictions) is Saturday, July 17 at the Northwest Maritime Center in Port Townsend, WA.
