We make and market tools for removing broken screws and other fasteners. Our tools are very effective and our customers include boat yards, cabinet making shops, do-it-yourself carpenters, and construction companies as well as many other businesses. Our customers are scattered worldwide. A few of the many very significant boat builders who use our products are Aspen Power Catamarans, New England Boat and Motor, Pendleton Yacht Yard, Regulator Marine in mainland America, and Gold Coast Yachts in the US Virgin Islands.

I am a retired boat builder and ship’s carpenter. I developed UNSCREW-UMS(TM) when I was assigned a job on a 52’ Ketch named MAH JONG. One of the instructions was that there could be NO errors in my work. While disassembling some cabinet work the heads of 4 of the screws split in half. I developed UNSCREW-UMS(TM) to remove the remaining metal and finish the job, and probably also saving my own job.

That was 40 years ago. I patented the design and trademarked the name and am still making and selling UNSCREW-UMS(TM).
