Owner’s Description
A joint project between University of Wisconsin and contemporary Ojibwe artist and cultural educator Wayne Valliere (Mino-Giizhig) of the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians to build a traditional Ojibwe birchbark canoe (wiigwaasi-jiimaan).
The boats will arrive February 17, 2023
(there’s also plenty to explore on the map year-round)
To get access to the Show, you need a Full Access Pass:
1. If you attended the WCBS in 2021 or 2022, your login will still work 2. If you’re new to the Show, you can get a ticket by clicking “Get Full Access” 3.NOTE: Off Center Harbor members still need a separate WCBS account; this is a different login system
If you want to create or update pages and classifieds
but aren’t ready to buy a ticket, you can start here – but you won’t get access to all the boats and daily presentations.
